Public Service Commission, West Bengal Requirement for the post of Junior Engineers (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical)

The Public Service Commission, West Bengal will hold a Combined Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) in West Bengal Sub-ordinate Service of Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) under the various Departments, Directorates, other offices and establishments of Government of West Bengal. Online applications are hereby invited from Indian Citizens and others declared eligible by Government of India for recruitment to the said posts. The rules of the examination and other particulars are stated in the following paragraphs. A candidate should verify from these rules whether he/she is eligible for admission to the examination. The conditions prescribed cannot be relaxed.

No of Vacancies: The no. of vacancies in different services and posts to be filled on the results of the examination will be announced later. All appointments will initially be made on a temporary basis.
 
Eligibility Criteria:
 
Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
 
Selection Procedure:
 
Online Examination and Medical Examination (Refer Advt. for better clarity for selection procedure).  
 
Age:
 
Age Should be not more than 36 years as on 01.01.2022.
Age relaxation should be applicable as per Govt. Terms and Conditions.

Commencement of submission of online application : 16.11.2022
Closing date for submission of online application : 07.12.2022 (upto 03:00 pm)
Closing date for submission of fees through online : 07.12.2022 (upto 03:00 pm)
Closing date for submission of fees through offline : 08.12.2022
Edit Window : from 14.12.2022 to 20.12.2022

Examination Fees should be Rs. 160.00 + Service tax
